About the Artist
Natalie Parker has held the position as principal clarinet of the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra since January of 2012. She joined the Ballet Orchestra after attending Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music, where she studied with Michael Webster and Richie Hawley. Ms Parker is an active chamber musician and a founding member of the Farallon Quintet, a clarinet quintet based out of San Francisco. She has also taught on the faculty of San Francisco State University and regularly coaches with the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Stanford University’s Summer Youth Orchestra Program.
